After two years, the offense of the Pittsburgh Shawnees has finally
arrived. A week after blowing out Ohio, 43-3, the Shawnees crushed
Fairbanks 47-0 on Saturday to improve to 4-0 on the young season. The
Shawnees took the governor off the offense going to 3,4 and 5 receiver sets
after week two and the results have been outstanding, with 90 points in two
games. As with the offense, the defense switched to the 4-3 defense
after week two in an effort to get sack master Robert Mathis on the field
and the results have been equally impressive. Mathis has five sacks
since the switch and the defense has given up just three points. |
